Track and Field | Lower Merion, PA
Track and Field Season is April-early June
Our Spring Track and Field athletes practice twice a week at Lower Merion High School Track. We have 4-5 home meets per season to give kids opportunities to try out all events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, long jump and shot put). Some athletes continue on to AAU or USATF Regional and National meets.
Cross Country | Lower Merion, PA
Cross Country Season is September - November
Our Fall cross country runners practice twice a week in various local parks. We have 6 meets at Belmmont Plateau and meets hosted by other local teams in state parks. We often compete in an Eastern Regional Meet and in the past have gone to National Cross Country Meets. We generally choose either a National Meet or the Foot Locker Meet in NYC depending upon the location of Nationals and the interest level of the parents.
2025 Track Registration
Returning families have until Feb 3, 2025 to register for the 2025 season. At that time we will go to the waiting list to fill open slots. *** New in 2025*** Our waiting list situation is not sustainable with 556 people on the waiting list. Anyone interested in the the 2025 Track season MUST sign up on the 2025 Track Waiting List. If there are over 75 interested and AVAILABLE athletes, we will go to a lottery system. Anyone who signed up on our general waiting list after September 1, 2024 is automatically transferred to the 2025 Track waiting list.

Good news - we did graduate a large cohort of of 8th graders and will have openings in Spring 2025 in several age groups! All 2025 athletes will be selected from the 2025 Track and Field Waiting List.

2026 Waiting List will be open on Jan 1, 2026.
2025 Cross Country Registration
Registration for Fall 2025 Cross Country Season will open August 1 for RETURNING families only. On August 13 families from the waiting list will be contacted about any potential openings.
